1 About Study CPEA

Study CPEA ("we", "us", "our") is a secondary learning support platform designed to help Grade 4–6 students in the Caribbean improve confidence and outcomes. The platform provides interactive quizzes, progress tracking, study planning tools, and parental oversight features.

Study CPEA is currently in Beta. While we strive for a stable and reliable service, we may make changes to features, content or availability with reasonable notice where possible.

2 Eligibility & Account Types

Study CPEA offers three account types:

• 🎓Student accounts — for learners aged 11–18 in secondary education. Students under 13 require explicit parental consent.
• 👨‍👩‍👧Parent/Guardian accounts — for adults overseeing a student's progress. By creating a parent account and linking it to a child account, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of that child.
• 🔐Administrator accounts — restricted to authorised Study CPEA staff only.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your password with anyone. Notify us immediately at support@studycpea.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3 Acceptable Use

You agree to use Study CPEA solely for legitimate educational purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to access another user's account without permission
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform's content or source code
• Upload, post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or obscene
• Use the platform to distribute spam or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to disrupt, disable or overload our servers or infrastructure
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

4 Intellectual Property

All content on Study CPEA — including quiz questions, explanations, study materials, design elements, and code — is owned by Study CPEA or its licensors. The question content is written to support Caribbean secondary curricula but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by any examination board (CPEA, CXC, etc.).

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

5 Parental Oversight & Child Safety

Study CPEA takes the safety of young users seriously. Parent accounts allow you to:

• View your child's study sessions, quiz scores and progress
• Set study goals and send motivational messages to your child
• Review and manage your child's account settings

We do not display advertising to users, and we do not share student data with third parties for commercial purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle children's data.

6 Availability & Disclaimer

Study CPEA is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. During the Beta period especially, the service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our revision content, Study CPEA does not guarantee exam success. Our materials are a revision aid and should be used alongside other study resources and teacher guidance.

To the extent permitted by law, Study CPEA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.

7 Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform or its users.

On termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Caribbean data protection law.

8 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Your continued use of Study CPEA after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of applicable local jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from your use of Study CPEA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of applicable local jurisdiction.
